Field Sales Representative

Edline is an exciting, web-based, company serving the K-12 education marketplace. We are one of the fastest growing companies in the education market and are well-poised for breakaway growth in the next few years. To that end, we are seeking full-time outside sales representatives to sell the company's innovative web solutions to school districts in most major markets.

This is a highly independent position for a motivated, professional and organized individual. Because we are a fast-growing company, we seek flexible individuals able to manage priorities and reach territory goals. Your primary activities will include:

  • Cultivating interest and sales appointments through cold calls, emails, and networking
  • Meeting quantitative goals for prospecting, meetings, and sales
  • Conducting dynamic and well-informed sales presentations, both on-line and live for administrators and educators
  • Identifying and coordinating Request for Proposal (RFP) responses
  • Attending and coordinating local trade shows and events
  • Quoting, negotiating, and closing the sale

We can teach you many of the things you will need to know to sell our products, but you must already know how to manage your time, work step by step toward a long term goal, and have a passion for joining a team of winners who want to make a difference in the world today.

Details of position:
  • Field Sales Representative - Full Time
  • Home-based position with extensive daytime travel; some overnight travel required
  • Compensation Package (based on experience): $90-$100K, approximately 50/50 base/bonus. We expect top "Sales Representatives" to exceed these compensation levels and have a "no cap" commission plan
  • Expense Account and Benefits.

Job Requirements: Qualified candidates must be enthusiastic and have a terrific work ethic that compliments a combination of the following:

  • 4 year college degree
  • 2-5 years sales experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience and competency with digital/web products.
  • Passion and interest in helping to shape and improve our nation's schools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • K-12 experience or background a plus
  • Proven presentation and public speaking ability
  • Valid Driver's License
