Inside Sales Representative

Edline is an exciting, web-based, company serving the K-12 education marketplace. We are one of the fastest growing companies in the education market and are well-poised for breakaway growth in the next few years. To that end, we are seeking full-time Inside Sales Representative to sell the company's website/portal and online gradebook solutions to schools and school systems.

This is a position for a highly motivated, professional and organized individual. Because we are a fast-growing company, we seek flexible individuals able to manage priorities and reach territory goals. Your primary activities will include:

  • Cultivating interest and sales through cold calls, emails, and networking
  • Meeting quantitative goals for prospecting, presentations, and sales
  • Conducting dynamic and well-informed on-line sales presentations for district and school level administrators
  • Identifying and coordinating Request for Proposal (RFP) responses
  • Quoting, negotiating and closing the sale

We can teach you many of the things you will need to know to sell our products, but you must already know how to manage your time, work step by step toward a long term goal, and possess high energy and a competitive sales drive.

Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be enthusiastic and have a terrific work ethic that compliments a combination of the following:

  • 4 year college degree
  • Sales experience of 1-5 years
  • Demonstrated successful sales performance
  • Software/technology sales experience a plus
  • Technology nimble
  • Passion for education and the K12 industry
  • K12 sales experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Presentation and public speaking ability
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office, Internet
