See for yourself why thousands of schools have chosen Edline’s website and portal solution to meet their online communication needs.
Edline offers web hosting, content management, information portals, and tools for classroom management, gradebook, notification, analytics, virtual storage and related technologies.
New technologies are making it possible for schools to increase parental involvement, raise student achievement, and transform their learning community.
“ The best part is that I don't have to remember to go looking for grades, when new grades are available, an email says so. All I have to do is log on and type in my screen name and password. Then I am either pleasantly surprised or rather annoyed.”

Norway - Since the Norway-Vulcan Area Schools instituted EDLINE, an online communication system, in the spring of 2004, parents of middle and high school students have been able to track their child's educational progress much easier.
With a few clicks of a mouse, parents are able to access a report on their child's academic progress and much more.
"I've been very impressed with EDLINE," said Yvonne Voss, mother of two children at Vulcan Middle School and one at Norway High School. "EDLINE makes it much easier to check on my children's homework, quizzes, and test scores. Although the school is excellent at sending home progress reports and homework folders, EDLINE provides current information that is useful so my husband and I can help our children with assignments or projects. It really enables us to participate in their education."
There are irrefutable reasons for parents to be involved. Studies consistently show that parent involvement: raises the academic achievement of children; improves the child's attitude toward school; enables parents and children to communicate better; and helps parents understand and support the work of the school.
PASS Chairperson at Vulcan Middle School, Patty Bastian, also likes the new system. "EDLINE not only allows us to monitor our children's progress, the school calendar provides information on upcoming events. It's an excellent way to stay informed."
With schools facing greater accountability for student achievement, technology can be a valuable communication tool, say school administrators.
"Communication between parents and the school is essential. With EDLINE, teachers, parents, and students can work together to ensure student's success," said Bastian.
"We share the reports with our children," reports Voss. "It's great to be able to see the progress they're making."
August Murray, math and science teacher at VMS also sees a big positive with EDLINE, "Teachers have seen many more concerned parents early in the year and I'm sure this will mean higher student achievement."
